A bold expression of the one of the Girl Scouts most iconic symbols - the green sash, envelopes the front of the Hardesty Leadership Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This modern architectural rendition of the sash, a staple of the Girl Scout uniform for generations, is in easy view of drivers on the Broken Arrow Expressway, as well as visitors to the facility. Made of perforated aluminum, the architectural sash stands 80 feet long, 19 feet high, and weighs in at just over 2 tons. McKey Perforating, a division of Diamond Manufacturing, provided the perforated metal for this portion of the project.

The Hardesty Leadership Center was designed by architects Beck Design and constructed by Flintco, both of Tulsa. The new two-story 30,000-square-foot facility doubled the size of its previous headquarters. A cohesive mix of modern and organic, the design of the building incorporates symbolic elements throughout, reflecting the culture & values of Girl Scouts.

Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma is a nonprofit organization.  Made possible through the gifts of approximately 50 donors, the Hardesty Leadership Center is a part of a $12 million capital campaign, with $2 million going towards campground improvements.
